Christmas is a time for reflection
Reflecting upon the last year in your Club, Irish Veteran and Vintage Car Club, brings to mind many happy times and experiences. We organised six events, every one a great success thanks to all those who participated in any way, whether competing or helping with the organising. Congratulations to all our ‘award winners’. The Board is most grateful to everyone who was involved in any way, as was said before, the Board may do the organising but it’s those who participated that make the events enjoyable.
While with this Christmas message we are wishing all our members and friends a very happy Christmas we will not forget those no longer with us or those who may be less well right now. By the very nature of our Club, veteran and vintage, we will tend to have more illness or ailments and I would urge those at our events to be aware of those who would appreciate a friendly word or an invitation to join a table or group at a time when friends may seem a little scarce.
A great way to make a good day for yourself is to make a better day for someone else.
We can all look forward to putting all the great ideas and plans, made over the winter, into action as the days lengthen in the New Year.
To all our members and friends have a great Christmas and a happy New Year.
Best Wishes
